Every year Sandie Walker Hepburn of Powder Grey chooses a charity or organization to support…

In the past it has been Radio Borders Cash for Kids, Princess Trust Scotland - Lunch with an Old Bag, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Lauderdale Choir, Lauderdale Scout Group, Lauder Primary School, sponsorship of artist David Cass’ book ‘Perimetri Perduti’ – and other local and a far people/events, to name but a few. 

The events have included completing the Edinburgh half marathon, a cycle ride from Carlisle - Cramond in Edinburgh (100 miles), running from Edinburgh Castle to Thirlestane Castle (Lauder) and the home of Scottish rugby Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh to Melrose rugby club at the Greenyards.
